Strong Foundations…


Behind the stylish hoarding, the substructure basement works are now complete. The basement will accommodate 41 cars, 56 bicycles and secure lockers. Also provided below the building are the 5 star amenity spaces which provides for 5 male and 5 female shower, changing and drying room facilities.

Intelligent design and excellent services


The concrete lift and stair core is now completed to roof level. Works will soon commence on the main lift lobbies which will be clad in a natural stone finish to complement the solid French limestone cubic façade. The lift lobbies will provide 3 no. 13 person energy efficient lifts with enhanced access control and provision for 1 person per 8 sq m.

Transforming the streetscape…


Now well above the hoarding, the ‘topping out’ process of the concrete frame superstructure from ground to roof level is well underway. Spanning either side of the main core, the open plan floor plates will extend to approximately 8,650 sq ft each with the frame setting back at Fourth and Penthouse floors, to allow for generous terraces. Columns are generally laid out on a 7.5m grid with loading of 5kN per sq m. The floor plates are typically 300mm deep, flat concrete slabs with clear slab to slab of 3.4m and clear floor to ceiling height (after service zones) of 2.8m.

Starting the weather tight process

The Sharp Building will transition into its final form with installation commencing on the Glazed Curtain Walling and windows. The full height glazing allows for exceptional levels of natural light providing occupiers with a bright and spacious working environment.

August to December 2017


The finishing touches


Behind a striking external glazing system, the finer touches will be underway to the interior and common areas. The natural stone and porcelain finishes will be laid throughout the lobby and toilet areas and finished with American walnut style doors to further enhance the elegant design and ‘best in class’ expectations and optimise tenant experience.

Ready to welcome occupiers


The Sharp Building will now be weather tight and ready for early tenant fit out. Occupiers will avail of early access, prior to completion, to maximise the lead in time and efficiency for CAT B fit out.
